The shower door does not keep water in at all, and the whole bathroom gets flooded, it is better not to close it at all.

Winter wonderland in inari

We booked two nights in two different rooms in Inari. The location is stunning, right next to a lake, which you can walk on. Its sooo beautiful at night In the first day, we had the arctic chalet, which was really awesome. We had a smaller issue, which the personnel on the front desk solved quickly. The chalet was big, we had 2 rooms without a bath and toilet. The bed was medium soft but really nice, right next to the bedroom was the sauna, which we used twice. Small problem was that the room got a little bit hot because of the sauna . The sink in the bathroom was small, so we had not enough space for our things. The main room with the fireplace was cozy. Sadly, it was no real fireplace but rather an electrical one. The second day we had the aurora cabin, its like one big room and a bath and toilet. I also booked the kuskas and a birthday special :) everything was nice there. Sadly, the view for us was cloudy, so there was no aurora for us. But nevertheless, the view at night to the lake is awesome We liked the auroa cabin the most and would definitely recommend it.

Best place to dance with the Lady in Green (Aurora)

The most beautiful resort in Inari. Loved the Igloo. The Aurora was very active the whole night, we were very lucky. Loved the place.

Internet signal was very poor or not existent at my Igloo (513).

Everything is at ease.

Their restaurant serves excellent food. The breakfast buffet offers plenty of options; the waffles are particularly nice. The lunch buffet is simple, but the quality is good. The dinner buffet has better options, with the sourdough being a highlight. It would be even better if a mini oven could be provided for reheating.

The combination of modern house and igloo, which allows us to enjoy the starry night and northern lights comfortably inside the room. Close to lake, easy to hunt northern lights. Also loved the breakfast and dinner buffet.

Lovely hotel up north and good location

We stayed in one of the Wilderness rooms for 2 nights. As soon as we arrived at 4.30pm, I rented the aurora alarm for 10euro a night and walked a minute across the courtyard to the room block. It is literally a stone throw away and the auroras started happening over the lake. For anyone curious, our auroras were kind of bright grey and you could see lines in the sky but not bright green. When you take a photo with your phone however they are bright green. To see with your eyes it depends on the strength of the aurora. But thankful to have seen them as we'd been in lapland 4 nights already and Kakuslatten to no avail. The beds are comfortable with nice hot water, TV, and you can pick up warm clothing for free with your stay between 8 and 9am in the morning (or I think 6 and 7 in the pm]. The buffet breakfast was 7am to 10am. Toast station with jam or ready made batter mix for toasting your own waffles. Salad and cheese/hams. Bacon/beans and scrambled eggs/hard boiled eggs/red small franfurter sausages and meatballs. Tea/coffee/water. Cereals also. So the buffet was quite a good selection.

Even though we saw aurora, there was quite a lot of light pollution from nearby cabins still with their lights on. This is generic to lapland in general. If you want snacks outside of meal times, it is 5 euro for half a tub of pringles. 5 euro for thin chocolate slab. Or 3 bars of choc for 5 euros. I bought 1 half tub, 2 choc slabs, thin fanta and bag of crisps and its like 25 euro. I felt Each time I bought a snack for 2 people it was around 25/30 euro. The husky safari we went on was not as good as at kakslauttenen. It goes over the frozen lake inari when we visited in December 13th and 14th. The dogs seem to poop the whole way which obviously can't help but ours seemed to just have the runs. Being face level with the dogs was a bit gross then if you're the one sitting in the sleigh. We then sled over all the other dogs poop. I'm not an expert but just my experience. This wasn't the case in kakslauttenen. Also the dogs here at inari, there were very few typical looking Husky. Kakslauttenen had more than looked Husky like. The aurora hunting activity was on our.last night 8pm until 11pm. It was super cloudy and we drove pretty much to the border with Norway. However we didn't see anything. This can't be helped by the organisers. Just little personal disappointment with this as it cost so much. The two guides were so lovely though and we did get hot juice/biscuits and offered hand warmers etc.

Hotel: Perfect location and the staffs are really kind and helpful! The breakfast and dinner are really nice with a great variety of food. Cabin is really neat! Surrounding: The surrounding is really quiet and we even got to spot reindeers and see Aurora at the lake, which is behind the hotel. Extra Info: The ride to Inari center is around 20 minutes by taxi (around 23 Euro) and ride to airport is around 40 minutes by taxi (around 132 Euro).

Wifi is only avaible in the main building.

Wonderful

The stuff was incredibly friendly and courteous. We liked the dinner, the frozen lake and the whole atmosphere in this hotel.

Although the dinner was great, the breakfast could have been a little bit more varied. For the price you have to pay, we expected some additional products in the shower and not only one shower gel for all. We paid for one session in the sauna but it was nearly not heated at all and it felt more like 50°C and not like a sauna.

Inari worth it for the northern lights!

Wilderness Inari feedback - Location to watched the northern light, right at our door step and the experience of staying in an igloo. However igloo has no kitchen area, so bath, quite small but love the heated floors. They common hall is big and they service buffet and have lots of sofa to get out of the small igloo space. It was alright for 1 night, The northern light tour with Yoonas was amazing, you should look out for him and he said education stories to share and that night, we share the dancing northern lights called coronas. Wilderness Juutua feedback -We heard about the great customer service at their sister branch Wilderness Juutas and this we booked directly with the hotel for the reminder days. Milia was omg an angel, she emphasized with our situation, helped us on an early bus ride back to Rovaniemi where she called the bus to meet us at the hotel, so we dont have to drag our luggage to the bus stop. They packed an breakfast takeaway for us, as we would be missing breakfast. The food was wayyyyyyyyyy amazing in Juutua, it was by courses but the attention of details in the food was better than the buffet in Inari. I mean we perfer quality versus quantity when it comes to dining. I wish they can bring the staff of Juutua to Inari Wilderness, that would be the perfect fit.

Wilderness Inari feedback - Honestly it is a long journey from rovaniemi to inariand we had a horrible flight, broken luggage and the reception on feb 18th was just a blah. She was not inviting at all and was not accommodating to share this is what we have for you, just to cheer us up. This place aint cheap! The dining servers were better at customer service.

Fabulous hotel and base, but research and plan your own activities

Such a brilliant location and log cabin - couldn’t fault it and exactly as we had hoped. Super comfortable and great food - veggie choices excellent and everyone loved the chance to try local foods and specialities. We did most of our activities independently through our own research and this was far, far better value for money. Did a couple of activities with hotel guides who were super friendly and passionate but activities feel rushed and not in depth. Reception staff are friendly and lovely but there aren’t enough of them so service is very very slow. Would come back tomorrow - a very special stay !

Very comfortable base for exploring the far north

Fabulous location on Lake Inari, we were able to see the northern lights without leaving the room, snowmobiles on the premises for exploring the lake and a variety of excursions to go on. The staff both in the hotel and the guides on the excursions were all really friendly and informative we had a great time. The cabins are warm and snug, it's great to have a personal sauna!

Cocktails weren't very good for the price. The buffet and a la carte was good quality but got a bit monotonous - the emphasis is on locally sourced foods, so lots of reindeer and local fish (e.g. arctic char). There's quite a lot of lighting in the resort at night so it's best to go out for dark skies.

Best resort in Inari lake to admire Aurora

Best location in Inari lake to see Northern Light. Good buffet Breakfast/dinner. Amazing sauna with lake view.

I don't suggest to do "Aurora hunting by car" as activity ( 3 hours outdoor, very cold and no aurora to see) . You can admire Aurora easily outside the hotel between 5 and 8 p.m. It would be great a free shuttle 2/3 times a day to visit Inari (40 minutes walking).
